Hey people! I just had a short story launch over on Amazon in the Primal Voices anthology. Its a mil sci fi story that leads its way into a portal fantasy, that I will be playing with later.
My story is awesome, and I think you’ll love it! An early draft can be found here on my substack for paying subs. And you can the finished version, along with a whole host of other awesome authors shorts, HERE!
Now onto the catch up portion.
I know I announced I was probably going to move over to something like Ream. However, that platform has very much become a romance platform, and LitRPG despite what several authors over there have successfully done, has struggled over there by and large. So I think i’ll stick to Substack for now.
As for news on this substack, and the stories here? I've already gotten a significant way through book 1 of Reincarnated As A Peasant for editing and rewriting. Its taken longer then I thought largely because i’ve been incorporating all of ya’lls feedback on Sakura and her storyline. Its my hope that by the end of my work, you’ll all like her a lot more. Or at least not dislike her as much XD
So be on the look out here, for when book 4 starts posting here on the substack in rough draft form, which will likely be around May.
Now, about those Dinos!
So onto the blurb!
A child brings home a strange lizard to keep as a pet. Cowboys herd woolly mammoths over the Great Plains on raptorback. Livestreamers attempt to cozy up to stegosaurs at the Zoo. Adventurers explore mysterious lands where giants of ancient lore roam. A military scientist secretly commits crimes against God and humanity by breeding a pack of living, breathing reptillian war crimes. A troop of Scouts, hungry for merit badges, embark on a camping trip and encounter something that's hungry for them instead.
These things are normal, in a world where humans walk alongside the Titanic Lizards of Old.
There's a myriad of theories as to how such a world could be. Some say the ancient bloodlines were resurrected via mad science and/or alchemy. Others suggest that they could be extraterrestrial. There are even those that insist that these massive, majestic creatures never left. Whichever the case may be, in this universe, dinosaurs are here to stay, and Mankind must decide whether to exist in harmony alongside them--or fight for bitter survival.
In this collection, nine authors band together to bring you Tales of the Saurian Age.
These are their Primal Voices.
