I’ve had an absolute blast writing this series, and I’m about a quarter of the way done writing book 3. This one was highly influenced by my experience as a teenager playing Warcraft 3 with my friends nearly nonstop afterschool. Such a fun game, and I really wanted to capture that same feeling in this.
Of course, the series is entirely its own thing. With unique lore, world, and characters. Though you might feel a bit comfortable with some of the elements. Such as base building, monsters, and of course all kinds of magic.
Each book introduces a new character, and a new race with unique abilities and strengths, all while keeping a focus on the looming ever growing threat.
The coolest part of book 1 in my humble opinion, is that we got Michael Kramer to read it on audible! That’s right, the same guy who read Wheel of Time, and pretty much every Brandon Sanderson novel read The Storm’s Rage! How cool is that?
